Who is Dr. Michael Mason-Wood?

Michael was born and raised in the Yukon. He received his Bachelor of Science (biology) from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC and went on to complete his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto. Prior to becoming a naturopath, Michael was a geologist and diamond driller in the Yukon and NWT.

Outside of work, his interests include pottery, enjoying the outdoors, and playing sports. He is also a trained Bowen therapist and has a special interest in herbal medicine given his First Nation background.


Who is Dr. Christina Bjorndal?

Prior to attending the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Christina was a senior manager in the financial services industry. She is an avid outdoors and exercise enthusiast and has completed three marathons, Ironman Canada and several half-marathons and triathlons. She believes in a holistic approach to health, with nutrition and exercise as a foundation in maintaining an optimum balance in our overall well-being. Her primary focus is on women’s health, sports medicine and mental health issues. Christina has had additional training in Gestalt and cognitive behavioural therapy.


Dr. Mason-Wood & Dr. Bjorndal are pleased to work with people who want to feel better, improve their quality of life and promote healthy longevity.
